The P-Quant Relay is designed to protect relatively simple devices that are optimised for a small universe of actions and decisions by being physically co-located or adjacent, and sandwiched between the device I/O and the network. The same function can be provided in the case where a device is capable of running dOISP, but for some commercial reason root access is denied so that dOISP cannot be installed on the device.
Who can use them?
P-Quants are used by the same network administrators and cyber-security architects who will be securing an operational network, or developing a new network to enhance productivity and asset utilisation.
